Master Cyril Lignac's Irresistible Chocolate Fondant Recipe

Ingredients

  • 100 g dark chocolate for pastry
  • 100 g butter + 20 g for the mold
  • 100 g icing sugar
  • 40 g flour
  • 2.5 eggs

Instructions

  1. Break the chocolate into squares in a bowl and melt it in a bain-marie with the butter cut into pieces. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Incorporate the flour and icing sugar while whisking, then add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Preheat the oven to 190°C (thermostat 6/7). Butter a square mold. Pour in the batter and bake for 20-22 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before unmolding. Cut into six slices and arrange on a dish.
  5. Serve with custard.
