#gourmandcroquant:succumb to Cyril Lignac's divine apple and cinnamon cake!

We know that the apple and cinnamon mixture gives matter to exalt the taste buds but when chef Lignac comes to add his touch, it gives a soft dessert that we can not do without, clearly!

INGREDIENTS

  • Butter for the mold

Device

  • 165g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 20cl of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 170g flour
  • 2 apples cut into sticks 2cm long / 0.5cm wide / 0.5cm thick

Garnish

  • 50g of sugar
  • 2 good pinches of cinnamon
  • 45g melted butter

UTENSILS
– 1 board + 1 paring knife
– 1 salad bowl + 1 hand mixer + 1 spatula
– 1 pastry tray + 1 silicone sheet

PREPARATION

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Combine all the ingredients for the device in the order listed, stirring gently.
  • Pour the batter into a buttered mold 9cm by 13cm.
  • Mix the sugar, cinnamon and melted butter to make the filling and sprinkle over the dough.
  • Bake for 30 minutes. Serve with honey butter.
