Easy Homemade Edible Flower Popsicles: A Stunning Summer Recipe

Creating homemade popsicles is simple and rewarding. Embedding edible flowers creates a visually striking treat that's perfect for summer.

Shared by the experts at Mooiwatplantendoen.nl, this recipe draws inspiration from their Garden Plant of the Month: summer bulbs.

Ingredients

  • Elderflower syrup
  • Water
  • Popsicle molds
  • Edible flowers

Instructions
Fill one-third of the popsicle molds with edible flowers. In a jug, combine one-third elderflower syrup with two-thirds water. Gently pour the mixture into the molds, up to 1 cm below the rim. Secure the lids and insert sticks (if required by your molds). Freeze for at least 24 hours. To release, briefly run under warm water.

Important Safety Note
Not all flowers are edible—some are toxic.† Always consult a reliable source before using. Opt for flowers specially cultivated for consumption; store-bought cut flowers and plants are not safe to eat.
