A splash of Amarula liqueur transforms this silky panna cotta into a celebratory treat that's both elegant and utterly delicious.
Ingredients (serves 6)
4 gelatin sheets
500 ml whipping cream
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
150 ml Amarula
3-4 cantuccini biscuits
Mixed red berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, or raspberries; optional pomegranate)
Optional: tuft of cress
Instructions
1. Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water.
2. Heat the whipping cream with the light brown sugar. Squeeze out the gelatin and dissolve it one by one into the hot cream.
3. Stir in the Amarula and pour into bowls or a large dish to cool and set.
4. Crumble the cantuccini biscuits.
5. For serving, place a portion of panna cotta on each plate, top with berries and a sprinkle of crumbs. Garnish with cress if desired.
