- 150 g of raisins: €4.84 per kilo, i.e. €0.73
- 1/2 liter of milk: €0.71 per liter or €0.35
- 100 g of candied orange: €29.70 per kilo, i.e. €2.97
- 150 g of powdered sugar: €1.19 per kilo, i.e. €0.18
- 2 eggs: €0.50
- 10 pieces of white sugar

How to
Preparation: 40 min - Cooking: 50 mins
- Soak the raisins in hot water for 15 min.
- Crumble 200 g of stale bread into a bowl. Pour 1/2 liter of boiling milk over it, cover, and let it swell.
- Finely chop 100 g of candied orange and drain the raisins.
- Incorporate the chopped orange and drained raisins into the bread mixture.
- Whisk the mixture briefly, then add 150 g of sugar, 2 beaten eggs, the raisins, and orange.
- In a cake tin, caramelize 10 sugar cubes with 2 tablespoons of water.
- Once the caramel is ready, slowly coat the walls of the mold, then pour in the mixture.
- Bake in a moderate oven for 50 min.
