Homemade dips and spreads are effortless to prepare, quick to make, and far tastier and healthier than store-bought jars. As a home cooking expert, this creamy avocado yogurt spread is one of my go-to favorites for its fresh flavors and nutrition.
Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado
- ½ garlic clove
- 200 ml Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp fresh dill
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Additionally needed: stick blender
Preparation
- Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh with a spoon or avocado slicer.
- Finely chop the dill.
- Place the avocado flesh in a tall cup, squeeze the garlic over it, and coarsely puree with the stick blender.
- Stir in the dill, Greek yogurt, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve in a bowl, sprinkled with fresh dill.
Tip: For a lighter spread, use low-fat yogurt or 0% fat Greek yogurt.
