- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 untreated limes
- 1 fresh chili, finely chopped
- 2 ripe avocados

- Combine garlic and salt in a mortar and crush to a fine paste. Add the chili and crush again until smooth. Stir in the lime juice to create a zesty marinade.
- Peel the avocados and dice the flesh into small cubes. Place in a large bowl and gently toss with the marinade.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours to let the flavors meld.
Serve chilled as a refreshing aperitif, paired with olive skewers.
