Loaded Nachos with Melted Cheese, Black Beans, and Bell Pepper
Complete your quiz night with these crowd-pleasing nachos, crafted by Santa Maria for authentic Tex-Mex flavor.
Ingredients
For 4 people
For the nacho dish
- 250 g black beans
- 1 bag of Santa Maria Taco Seasoning Mix
- 1½ piece of red pepper
- 200 g corn
- ½ jar of Santa Maria Red Jalapeño
- 200 g grated cheese
- 1 bag of Santa Maria Nacho Chips
- 100 ml water
- 1 tbsp oil
Toppings
- 200 g tomato
- 1 red onion
- 1 avocado
- 30 g fresh coriander
- 1 jar of Santa Maria Chunky Wrap Salsa Mild
Preparation method
- Preheat the oven to 225 °C.
- Distribute the nachos evenly in a baking dish.
- Cut the red pepper into pieces and fry in oil.
- Add the black beans, corn, jalapeños, taco seasoning mix and the water. Stir together and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes without lid.
- Distribute the nacho chips evenly in a baking dish and top with the black beans, bell pepper, jalapeños and corn.
- Sprinkle with the cheese and bake in the oven for about 5 minutes until the cheese has melted.
- Dice the tomatoes, onion and avocado and place on top of the melted cheese. Garnish with fresh coriander.
- Serve with the salsa.
