Authentic Tex-Mex Nacho Platter: Seasoned Ground Beef, Melted Cheese & Fresh Guacamole

Ingredients

Serves 4

For the nacho platter

  • 200 g grated cheese
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 400 g ground beef
  • 1 bag Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 0.5 jar Red Jalapeño
  • 1 can Dip Nacho Cheese Style
  • 1 bag Nacho Chips

For the guacamole

  • 1 bag Dip Mix Guacamole
  • 2 avocados
  • 100 ml sour cream
  • Extra: 1 jar Taco Sauce Mild

Preparation Method

  1. Heat the oil in a pan and brown the ground beef. Stir in the Taco Seasoning Mix and water.
  2. Combine and simmer uncovered for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Spread the nacho chips on a large ovenproof platter. Layer with the seasoned beef, nacho cheese dip, jalapeños, and grated cheese.
  4. Bake at 225°C for 5-7 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
  5. Serve immediately with fresh guacamole and mild taco sauce on the side.
