Ingredients
- 3-4 cm fresh ginger root
- 500 g flesh of a cantaloupe or honeydew melon
- 1 large carrot
- 100 g physalis berries (goldberries)
- 200 ml peach juice
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1-2 tbsp liquid honey
- 1 handful of ice cubes
- Additionally needed: blender or food processor / stick blender with high mixing cup
Preparation
- Peel and grate the ginger.
- Cut the melon into pieces.
- Peel the carrot and cut into pieces. Wash the berries.
- Put all ingredients with the ice cubes in the blender or mixing bowl.
- Blend until smooth and add ice-cold water until the smoothie reaches your desired thickness.
- Divide the smoothie between 4 glasses and serve immediately.
