Panna Cotta con Amore: Creamy Italian Dessert Recipe for Two

Indulge in this velvety Panna Cotta con Amore, a beloved Italian classic infused with amaretto and topped with fresh blueberries. Our tested recipe delivers restaurant-quality results at home.

Ingredients for 2 servings
– 250 ml cream
– 75 g granulated sugar
– 1 vanilla pod
– 4 tbsp amaretto
– 4 gelatine leaves
– 150 g fresh blueberries
– 6 cantuccini biscuits
– 40 g flaked almonds

Preparation method
1. Soak the gelatine sheets in cold water. Heat the cream gently over low heat, whisking in the sugar, amaretto, and seeds scraped from the vanilla pod. Squeeze excess water from the gelatine, then stir it in until dissolved. Remove from heat, pour into two glasses, and chill for 2 hours.

2. Crumble the cantuccini biscuits and toast the almonds until golden. Reserve a few blueberries; heat and mash the rest into a vibrant sauce.

3. Top the set panna cotta with cantuccini crumbs and almonds, drizzle with warm blueberry sauce, and garnish with fresh blueberries.
