Sweet and Salty Sweetness:My Pork Sauté with Caramel for Less than €3 per Person!

Combining the salty-sweet sweetness of caramel and soy is pure delight .

With my sautéed pork with caramel, I make an original recipe for less than €3 per person .

It would be a shame to deprive yourself of it!

Its easy preparation makes it a dish that you will enjoy cooking. Its low cost is also an indisputable argument!

Sweet and Salty Sweetness:My Pork Sauté with Caramel for Less than €3 per Person!

Ingredients for 4 people

- 600 g sautéed pork

- 5 teaspoons of soy sauce

- 6 tablespoons liquid caramel

- Olive oil

- 2 cloves of garlic

- 2 shallots

- 1 onion

- 1 pinch of powdered sugar

- 1 glass of hot water

- Salt and pepper

How to

1. Cut the pieces of pork into small cubes and place them in a salad bowl.

2. Peel and chop a clove of garlic and two shallots.

3. Mix with the meat and leave to marinate for ¼ hour with a pinch of sugar, salt and pepper.

4. Meanwhile, brown the onion and the last clove of garlic in a pot with a little oil.

5. Add the meat, the spoons of caramel and soy.

6. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, then add a glass of water.

7. Mix and bring to a boil.

8. Then cook over moderate heat for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Result

There you go, your caramel pork stir-fry is ready :-)

Easy, fast and economical! All you have to do is enjoy yourself.

Served with white rice, it's a delight!

Bonus tip

Sometimes I buy my meat at the supermarket in a 500 gram tray. But here it is, once my pieces of pork are on my cutting board, not only do I spend a lot of time degreasing it, but also some ends are so greasy that I can't cook them!

Buy your meat from your butcher and asking him to prepare it can avoid unpleasant surprises… As pork remains one of the most affordable meats, I don't pay more than the price per kilo and I avoid this kind of inconvenience.

The course note

- 600 g of sautéed pork:€8.50 per kilo, i.e. €5.10

- 30 ml of soy:at €9.60 per liter or €0.29

- 90 g of liquid caramel:€5.62 per kilo, i.e. €0.51

Either a dish for 1 person at €1.47 or at €5.90 for 4 people.
