Preparation
Heat the oil in a sauté pan and brown the chopped onion with the minced stew meat, sliced carrot, bacon pieces, fresh mushrooms, minced garlic, and seasonings (thyme, bay leaf, salt, pepper).
Once well browned, sprinkle with flour, stir, then add the chocolate square, red wine, and water.
Cover and simmer for about 40 minutes.
Serve hot with potatoes, rice, pasta, bulgur, or your favorite side.
