Recipe for spelled date crackers

With this recipe you can make your own crackers.

Ingredients
For 1 baking tray
Preparation time 20 minutes + 1.5 hours waiting time

  • 6 dates without pit
  • 80 g sunflower seeds
  • 40 g pumpkin seeds
  • 80 g sesame seeds
  • 150 g spelled flakes
  • 5 tbsp grapeseed oil
  • 1 tsp chlorella powder
  • Additionally required:stick blender with chopper or food processor, baking paper

Get started
Chop the dates coarsely and put them with the seeds, sesame seeds and spelled flakes in the chopper or food processor. Don't chop everything too finely in 30 seconds. Put the mixture in a bowl with the chlorella, ½ tsp salt, the oil and 200 ml water. Mix well and let it soak covered for 30 minutes.

Line a baking tray with baking paper. Preheat the oven to fan speed 160°C. Spoon the mixture in the center of the parchment paper. Place a second sheet on top and roll out with a rolling pin into an even slice. Remove the top sheet of baking paper again.

Bake the slice in the preheated oven for 30 minutes until golden brown. Remove the baking tray from the oven and immediately cut the slice into pieces. Let the crackers cool off the baking sheet. Serve with cottage cheese and tomatoes, for example.

Enjoy your meal!
