Recipe:Turkish chocolate baklava

The popular Turkish chocolate baklava is a perfect sweet end to a delicious meal. To make the preparation a bit easier, you can use ready-made puff pastry instead of making the dough yourself.

Requirements:
100 g cornstarch
100 g cocoa powder
500 g butter

Stuffing supplies: 
100 g grated pistachio or walnut
100 g chocolate chips

Supply supplies:
100 g sugar
Half a lemon
1 liter of water

This is what you will do

Roll out the puff pastry and divide it into 16 equal pieces. Each piece should be slightly larger than the baking sheet. At the same time, melt the butter over low heat. Half of the dough pieces are placed on an extra tray and smeared on both sides with the melted butter. Sprinkle with half of the pistachios or walnuts and chocolate chips. In the next step, the remaining puff pastry is also buttered on both sides, placed on the first layer of puff pastry and, depending on the case, sprinkled with walnuts, pistachios and chocolate chips. Then the dough is cut into 4 x 4 cm pieces of the same size and then baked for about 35 minutes at 200 ° C until the dough is golden brown. In between you make the sugar syrup, which at the end is poured cold on the baklava and has to steep for at least two hours. And then:just enjoy. Enjoy your meal!
