Michel Sarran, Top Chef Star, Unveils Premium Wagyu Burger at Tommy's Diner

Since April 8, Tommy's Diner—the beloved restaurant chain channeling a nostalgic 'USA 50s' atmosphere—has showcased an exceptional burger crafted by acclaimed Toulouse chef Michel Sarran, a judge on season 6 of Top Chef. Its standout feature? Luxurious Wagyu beef, a Japanese specialty encompassing elite breeds like Kobe.

"Patrick Soula, former rugby player and Tommy's Diner founder, challenged me to build a burger around this extraordinary Wagyu," shares Michel Sarran. "I crafted an American classic infused with Asian flair: daikon (Japanese radish), wasabi, ginger, mimolette cheese, fresh salad, shiso leaves, tofu, and onion sprouts—all nestled in a soft 'flour' bun." It's a flavor profile that's sure to tantalize.

This chef-endorsed burger lets Tommy's Diner introduce diners to top-tier ingredients once more. "We've previously featured premium Charolais and Black Angus beef," says Patrick Soula. "Discovering Wagyu was a game-changer—I couldn't wait to share it with our guests."

Priced at just €18.90, it proves that gourmet quality and accessible pricing go hand in hand, as Soula aptly notes.
