Recipe for grilled honey peaches

A side dish with grilled peach, ham, marsala wine and raisins.

Ingredients

  • 20 ml marsala wine
  • 80 g raisins
  • 8 slices of ham, about half a centimeter thick
  • 1 rosemary sprig
  • 1 jar of Delizia de miele con frutta secca
  • 8 canned peach halves
  • Sea salt
  • Black pepper

Get started

  1. Soak the raisins in the marsala wine for about fifteen minutes.
  2. Heat a grill pan over medium heat and grill the ham slices so that a nice checkered pattern is created. Then place the ham slices on a dish.
  3. Time for the peaches. Grill these on both sides until they start to brown and then add the Delizia di miele con frutta secca. Wait for the honey to crystallize and then turn off the heat. Deglaze with the raisins and the marsala wine.
  4. Finely chop the rosemary leaves. Turn the heat back on, add the rosemary leaves to the mixture and let it reduce until you have a syrupy sauce.
  5. Place the grilled ham and sweet honey peaches on a plate. Pour the sauce over it and season the dish with some sea salt and black pepper.
