As a home cook who loves effortless appetizers, I turn to these light skewers for a fresh, original twist: juicy melon wrapped in Parma ham paired with cherry tomato-mozzarella bites.
Frustrated by calorie-counting at gatherings while others indulge? These guilt-free skewers let you enjoy every bite without worry.

- 1 melon
- 6 slices of Parma ham
- 1 punnet of cherry tomatoes
- 1 ball of mozzarella
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
- toothpicks
1. Cut the melon into 2 cm by 2 cm dice.
2. Surround each dice with a little ham.
3. Prick them with a toothpick.
4. Place them on a nice plate.
5. Then cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
6. Salt and pepper a small cube of mozzarella cut beforehand.
7. Place it on a tomato half.
8. Prick it with a toothpick to close the tomato.
9. Pour a drizzle of oil on it.
There you go, your aperitif skewers are ready to serve! :-)
I focus on presentation and serve them chilled for maximum freshness.
If time is short or melon isn't in season, grab frozen melon balls from the supermarket—just thaw and wrap with ham!
