Ingredients

  • 1 small can of chickpeas (400 g or 265 g drained)
  • 1 to 2 cloves of garlic
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame puree
  • 1/2 lemon
  • cumin

Preparation

In a blender, put the drained chickpeas. Add the garlic, the lemon, the olive oil, the cumin, the sesame puree then a little bit of the juice from the chickpeas which you may add later so that the texture of the hummus is as you wish. want:neither too mortar nor too liquid.

The sesame puree gives the bitterness:dose it according to your taste.

Mix well and put in a bowl in the refrigerator for several hours so that it is very fresh. When ready to serve, drizzle olive oil on top and add a sprig of coriander or parsley. You can also sprinkle paprika.

To be served as an aperitif with breadsticks or as a starter with Lebanese bread.
