  • a log of goat cheese
  • a can of artichoke bottoms
  • olive tapenade
  • olive oil

Preparation

Drain the artichoke bottoms in a colander, then arrange them in an oven-safe dish.

Top each bottom with a dollop of olive tapenade, a slice of goat cheese, and a drizzle of olive oil. Season generously with pepper.

Bake in a preheated oven at thermostat 4 (160°C) for about 10 minutes, until golden and bubbly.

This elegant starter pairs beautifully with a crisp salad dressed in vinaigrette.
