Banana Bread Recipe for Slow Cooker or Oven

This recipe highlights the convenience of the slow cooker: simply mix the ingredients, add to the pot, and enjoy fresh banana bread in just 3.5 hours. Not only flavorful, it's also healthier than most snacks, packed with wholesome ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 gr spelled flour
  • 75 gr oatmeal flakes
  • 1 teaspoon biscuit or gingerbread spices (and/or cinnamon)
  • baking soda, 1 teaspoon
  • 1 dash of date or agave syrup
  • As desired: nuts, date pieces, fig pieces, raisins, coconut bits, etc.
  • Almond shavings (garnish)

Slow Cooker Method

  • Mix all ingredients together, except almond shavings (mash bananas by hand or use a stick blender for smoothness).
  • Line the slow cooker with greased baking paper.
