Filet of Hake with Lemon Sauce in the Oven, My Family Recipe!

Fish is good and we should eat it more often.

But the wallet can't always keep up, and it's sometimes hard to cook.

With my family recipe for hake fillets in the oven, I offer you an economical and easy-to-make dish.

Delicious just grilled, they reveal all their flavor, especially if accompanied by a lemon-based sauce.

Filet of Hake with Lemon Sauce in the Oven, My Family Recipe!

Ingredients

For 4 people

- 600 g of hake fillets (frozen if you wish:they will retain the same nutritional value, will sometimes be easier to find and above all, they will be less expensive!)

- 1 lemon

- 20 cl of semi-thick cream

- 40 g of butter

- 1 teaspoon old-fashioned mustard

- 1 sprig of parsley

- 1 onion

- Olive oil

- Salt and pepper

How to

- I preheat my oven to 180°.

- I pour a drizzle of olive oil in an ovenproof dish, and I place my Hake fillets in it.

- I put on each fillet, a thin slice of lemon that I have previously cut, my parsley and chopped onion.

- I salt and pepper.

- I put my dish in the oven for 20 minutes.

- Meanwhile, I melt my butter in a saucepan.

- I deglaze with the lemon juice then I add my cream and my mustard.

- I let it simmer for a few minutes.

- I arrange my hake fillets on the plates and coat them with sauce.

Accompanied by wild rice, these succulent fish fillets are a delight for the whole household!

Bonus tip

If you use frozen Hake, you can thaw it quickly by placing your fillets in a sufficiently deep container that you cover with cold water with a good handful of coarse salt and the juice of a lemon.

In less than 10 minutes you can use them like fresh fillets!
