Ingredients for 12 Nuggets

- 2 chicken cutlets (about 300 g) at €9.48 per kilo, i.e. €2.84
- 50 g breadcrumbs (make your own with this economical recipe—no need to buy!)
- 1 glass of milk (about 125 ml) at €0.71 per liter, or €0.09
- 2 eggs: €0.50
- 100 g flour at €0.95 per kilo, i.e. €0.10
- Salt & Pepper
- Olive Oil
Total: €0.29 each or €3.53 for 12 nuggets—cheaper and tastier than store-bought!
Preparation: 15 min - Cooking: 20 min
- Cut the chicken cutlets into small cubes.

- Place in a blender with one egg. Season with salt and pepper.
- Blend to a fine mince.
- Shape into 12 small balls and flatten slightly.
- In one shallow plate, mix breadcrumbs with a splash of milk to rehydrate.
- In a second plate, add flour; in a third, beat the remaining egg.
- Coat each nugget in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
- Fry in a pan over low heat with a drizzle of olive oil, 5-6 minutes per side until golden.
