The reason is very simple. This recipe is super easy to make and delicious .

For this recipe, I always choose small potatoes. They are perfect for making those roast potatoes.

As they are small in size, they cook quickly:20 min is enough to prepare dinner.

Next time you go grocery shopping, just choose the smallest potatoes you can find.

Then, just cook the potatoes in a pan, on the stove, with garlic and a mixture of herbs:oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme.

Then it's time to cover them generously with parmesan. It remains to put the pan in the oven. Let everything roast for 15 minutes. To make it even better, place small cubes of butter on top.

Let them melt and you'll have the best oven roasted potatoes you've ever made at home!

Ingredients

For 3 people - Preparation: 5 mins - Cooking: 30 min - Total time: 20 mins

- 500 g small potatoes

- 1 tablespoon of olive oil

- 2 cloves of garlic, minced

- 1/4 teaspoon of each of these aromatic herbs:oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme, sage

- ¼ teaspoon of salt (more or less according to taste)

- 2 pinches of paprika

- 140 g grated parmesan

- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley

- 30 g unsalted butter, cut into small cubes

How to

1. Preheat your oven to 200°C. Clean and rinse the small potatoes. Dry them and cut them in half.

2. Heat a frying pan that goes in the oven (preferably cast iron) and pour in the olive oil.

3. Add the potatoes and cook until they look crispy on the surface.

4. Cook the potatoes, turning them frequently, until their skins are golden brown.

5. Push the apples into one corner of the skillet to make room. Put the garlic in it and sauté it. Add the herb mix, salt and paprika. Stir to mix well.

6. Turn off the heat and sprinkle the potatoes with parmesan and parsley.

7. Transfer the pan to the oven and roast the potatoes for 15 min.

8. Add the pieces of butter cut into cubes on top of the dish.

Result

There you go, your roasted potatoes with herbs and parmesan are already ready to be tasted :-)

All that remains is to serve them immediately for the whole family to enjoy!

Be aware that new potatoes are perfect for this recipe. If you have larger potatoes, roast them longer in the oven for 20 min.

You can also cook your potatoes directly in the oven.

To do this, mix the olive oil, garlic, potatoes, herb mixture, salt and paprika with the potatoes. Then follow the remaining steps and roast your dish for 20 min to make your paprika and herb potatoes.
