Preparation
Soak the bread slices in white wine until fully saturated.
Dice the ham, pears, and Fourme d’Ambert cheese. Mix with fresh cream.
Beat the egg with an electric mixer and fold into the mixture.
Line a large gratin dish with the soaked bread slices. Pour over the cream mixture and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (thermostat 6) for 20 minutes.
