- 6 large white leeks
- 20 cl thick fresh cream
- 1 egg
- a few gratings of nutmeg
- salt and ground pepper
- 100 g grated cheese
- 2 cloves garlic
- 20 g butter
- coarse salt

- Wash and slice the white parts of the leeks. Boil in salted water until tender, drain well, and squeeze out excess moisture. Set aside.
- Peel and crush the garlic. In an oven-safe dish, melt the butter over low heat, add the garlic, and sauté gently without browning.
- Spread the cooked leeks evenly in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk the egg with the fresh cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

- Pour the cream mixture over the leeks.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Bake in the oven at medium heat until the top is golden brown.
