We've all scrolled through Instagram feeds, drooling over stunning food photos—the #foodporn hashtag alone has over 123 million posts. But pinpointing that irresistible dish or uncovering its recipe? Tricky, unless you're following recipe pros like Tasty.
Enter Pinterest's "Built-in Camera" Lens feature, already live in the US and rolling out globally—including France. With around 15 million food Pins on the platform, it analyzes images from Pins to reveal the dish name, ingredients, full recipe, dietary details (gluten-free, vegan, etc.), and preparation time.
One downside: it's US-only for now, per Pinterest's blog, with no exact global launch date. Stay tuned!
