Chill Wine Perfectly with Frozen Grapes: No Dilution, Expert-Approved Hack

With summer approaching, enjoying aperitifs in your garden or on the balcony is a true pleasure (always in moderation). However, the sun's heat quickly warms your wine, and ice cubes dilute its flavors. Ray Abercromby, director of wine distribution company Doyen Wines, shares the ideal solution: frozen grapes.

“Almost immediate” effects

Ice drowns out the wine's nuances, which isn't ideal. Frozen grapes retain their juice, preventing dilution or flavor transfer,” he explains to MailOnline. Simple and effective! “Add 2-3 frozen grapes to your glass and give it a light swirl. The cooling is almost immediate,” he adds. Alternatives like bottle coolers or ice buckets work too, but grapes double as a snack when done. Highly recommended!
