Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 250 ml milk + 100 ml fresh cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 100 g crushed Gruyère cheese

This is for the batter. The flour will ensure that everything is bound so that you do not need puff pastry and the quiche does not collapse. Then you can complete the rest with, for example

  • 1 large onion finely chopped
  • 125 grams of bacon cubes that you have fried and blotted on a kitchen paper against excess fat
  • All kinds of vegetables in brunoise (carrot, leek, bell pepper, tomato, broccoli, cauliflower mushrooms, whatever you want)
  • Chicken pieces, salmon, ham…
  • Everything you have left from the days before (preferably combinable with each other)
  • Chopped parsley or other herb version

Preparation method

  • Mix milk, cream, eggs, flour and cheese in a large bowl and stir well
  • Now add the vegetables and meat.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour everything into a mould. A silicone baking mold is the most convenient to remove from the mold afterwards.
  • Bake in a conventional oven for 30 minutes at 200° on hot air.

Et voila, your quiche without puff pastry is ready! Tasty food!
