Rabbit à la Tournaisienne (with beer)

Ingredients for 4 to 6 people

  • 1 rabbit
  • 1l of beer
  • 2 large onions
  • Bouquet garni (thyme, bay leaf)
  • Prunes
  • Butter
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

Cut the rabbit into pieces and sprinkle with flour.

Melt the butter and brown the meat. Salt and pepper.

Add the chopped onion.

Cover with beer and add the bouquet garni.

Leave to simmer for a few hours and complete the preparation with a few prunes before finishing the cooking.

Serve with steamed potatoes.
