Red fruit sorbet by Cyril Lignac:a vitaminized and ultra-refreshing recipe for summer

In summer, when temperatures rise, we gladly turn to light and refreshing recipes . And for a gourmet break nothing like an ice cream or a homemade sorbet . That's good, chef Cyril Lignac revealed his trick to RTL listeners to make a delicious fruit sorbet in just a few minutes. A simple recipe which only requires a handful of seasonal red fruits, a little sugar, a freezer and a blender. Of course, it is quite possible to adapt it to your tastes by adding other fruits or ingredients that you particularly like.

Chef Cyril Lignac's red fruit sorbet recipe

For 4 people you need:

  • 150 g of strawberries from France (for more taste)
  • 150g raspberries
  • 100g sweetened condensed milk or soy milk
  • Red hibiscus tea (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Preparation steps:

  1. Wash the fruit then cut the stems off the strawberries.
  2. Place the fruit in a tray and put it in the freezer.
  3. The next day, take the fruit tray out at least an hour before to thaw it.
  4. In a blender, pour the defrosted fruit. Add condensed milk, hibiscus tea leaves and a tablespoon of honey.
  5. Mix to have an instant homemade sorbet.
  6. In a bowl, serve yourself a scoop of ice cream then add whipped cream and some fresh fruit to your dessert if you want.
