  • 1 chicken stock cube
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cream
  • 50 g grated parmesan (comté, emmental or gruyère)
  • A few sprigs of chives
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation steps:

  1. In a saucepan, boil 1.5 liters of water and add the chicken stock cube.
  2. Meanwhile, peel the garlic and onion before slicing them. Add them to another pan, with a little olive oil, sweat them gently for 3 minutes. Then add the shells and leave to cook without browning for 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Pour a ladle of the broth, prepared beforehand, to wet the pasta shells and stir until absorbed. Stir and repeat the operation for 12 minutes so that the shells are well cooked.
  4. Slice the ham into thin strips and chop the chives.
  5. Once the shells are cooked, add the cream and mix well. Remove from the heat, pour in the grated Parmesan, the ham, season if necessary then mix gently.
  6. On the plates, arrange the risotto with the shells and sprinkle with the chives.

Chef's advice:do not hesitate to incorporate vegetables such as asparagus and peas to get your children used to good seasonal products.
