Why doesn't McDonald's serve mayonnaise?

Visits to fast food must remain exceptional if you want to stay healthy, we don't teach you anything. But it is true that treating yourself to your favorite menu from time to time in your favorite restaurant is a great boost to morale. Do you like your burger with chicken, beef, fish? Your fries, rustic or normal? And the sauce to accompany then, ketchup or mayo? If you are a regular at McDonald's, this last question may seem a little strange to you... Yes, the company is well known for not providing mayonnaise, causing great frustration among consumers who must settle for its not-quite-twin sister, the potato-fry sauce. But when you're fed up, you're fed up! On the Change.org site, British Big Mac lovers have decided to launch a petition to encourage the chain to distribute packets of mayo in all fast food restaurants in the country.

A UK petition to change things

If only 421 signatures have been collected at the time of writing, the act of rebellion has still reached the ears of McDonald's representatives who explained why the public was "deprived" of mayo. And the reason, which we have all wondered about at least once in our lives, is simple as pie:because the demand is not strong enough. So there really are people who can do without mayonnaise with their fries? We demand proof! A person working for the company naturally explained:“What we offer in our restaurants is a reflection of the expectations of the customer. We are not currently planning to provide mayonnaise ". At least, it is said! Those who like McDonald's and egg-based sauce equally can find the perfect compromise with the McChicken (below) which is said to be the only burger to contain it. Come on, let's dry our tears and tell ourselves that nothing beats the good homemade mayo of which only you have the secret... And as for the other sauces imagined by McDonald's, we pray that they will soon be sold in our supermarkets, as has been the case in Canada for the past year!
