More than 60 leading architectural firms united to bring Gingerbread City to life, creating opera houses, train stations, places of worship, and diverse neighborhoods each with unique architectural styles. The meticulous details showcase architectural expertise.
Beyond its feast-for-the-eyes appeal, this project prompts reflection on urban design: What elements define a livable city? How do spaces influence our daily lives and work? How should cities function to enhance well-being?
This magical, thought-provoking exhibition was displayed at the Museum of Architecture in London until December 22, 2016.
