2016 was a colorful year! The unicorn and rainbow trends have made their way onto our plates, and the Rainbow bagel, among many others, is proof of this. And during the holiday season, there is no reason for the culinary madness to stop:the latest bagel no longer combines all the colors of the chromatic circle, but only those of Christmas. And the result is no less beautiful! The little marvel, colored in white, red and green, was created by the Square Bar Café, located in San Diego, California. Unfortunately, it only exists there for the moment, but why not try to reproduce it by New Year's Eve?
The formula is not so complicated:dough passed through the food coloring box is twisted, and a cream cheese slips between the two covering parts of the donut. The pretty composition looks like a delicious candy cane, but its flavor remains that of a very basic bagel ("ohhh!" of disappointment). It doesn't matter, we're still a fan! We let you appreciate the beauty of this Christmas bagel, which looks like it was created especially for Instagram (a photo of a bagel, plus 100 subscribers?). Yum!
