Japanese noodle salad recipe with sesame dressing

A salad in a jar is a handy lunch to go. This noodle salad with sesame dressing is highly recommended.

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Roasted Sesame Dressing
  • 300 g shiitake
  • 50 g noodles
  • ½ carrots
  • 150 g pak choi
  • 100 g tofu
  • 1 tbsp Roasted Sesame Oil
  • 2 tbsp tamari
  • peanuts
  • Vegetable spiralizer
  • glass jar

Preparation
Wash all fresh ingredients. Cut the bottom of the stems off the shiitake and cut them into quarters. Stir fry the shiitake in a dry frying pan for 5 minutes until they are just soft. Use the Vegetable Spiral Cutter to cut the carrots into strings. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Cut the pak choi into thin strips and the tofu into cubes. Heat some Roasted Sesame Oil in a frying pan and fry the tofu for a few minutes. Add two tablespoons of tamari, lower the heat and let the tofu caramelize in the tamari. Put 4 tablespoons of Roasted Sesame Dressing in the glass jar and then fill the jar successively with noodles, bok choy, shiitake, carrot, tofu and a handful of peanuts on top.
