Easy Japanese Noodle Salad in a Jar with Sesame Dressing

Layer up this vibrant Japanese noodle salad in a jar for a nutritious, portable lunch. Our sesame dressing version, crafted with fresh ingredients, delivers authentic umami flavors trusted by home cooks and experts alike.

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Roasted Sesame Dressing
  • 300 g shiitake
  • 50 g noodles
  • ½ carrots
  • 150 g pak choi
  • 100 g tofu
  • 1 tbsp Roasted Sesame Oil
  • 2 tbsp tamari
  • peanuts
  • Vegetable spiralizer
  • glass jar

Preparation
Wash all fresh ingredients. Trim the stems from the shiitake and quarter them. Stir-fry in a dry pan for 5 minutes until just tender. Spiralize the carrot using a vegetable spiralizer. Cook noodles per package instructions. Slice pak choi into thin strips and cube the tofu. Heat Roasted Sesame Oil in a pan, fry tofu briefly, add 2 tbsp tamari, reduce heat, and caramelize. Layer in the jar: 4 tbsp Roasted Sesame Dressing at bottom, followed by noodles, pak choi, shiitake, carrot, tofu, and top with peanuts.
