Searching for an impressive holiday dessert? This elegant Amaretti macaroon parfait delivers creamy indulgence with crunchy bites and sophisticated flavors, drawing from time-tested techniques used by expert chefs.

Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Chill time: 12 hours
Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 jar of Delizia di miele con Pesca
  • 4 dl whipped cream
  • 120 g Amaretti biscuits
  • 100 ml Amaretto
  • 60 ml Vincotto Vinegar Fig
  • 50 g dried figs
  • ½ jar of Pumpkin & Walnut Jam

Instructions
Start by crumbling the Amaretti biscuits into uneven pieces for delightful texture—this pro tip ensures the parfait has satisfying crunch. Freeze the crumbs while you whip the cream to a soft-peak consistency, just firmer than yogurt, then refrigerate.

Mix the eggs, sugar, and Delizia di miele con Pesca. Gently heat au bain-marie, whisking until airy and voluminous. Off the heat, continue beating until pale and fluffy. Fold in the whipped cream delicately, then incorporate most of the frozen crumbs, reserving a handful for garnish. Transfer to a lined baking pan and freeze for at least 12 hours for perfect setting.

Meanwhile, simmer the Amaretto to evaporate the alcohol, stir in Vincotto Vinegar Fig, and add chopped dried figs. Cook until softened, then cool.

To serve, slice the chilled parfait and plate elegantly. Spoon over the fig-Amaretto compote, add a dollop of Pumpkin & Walnut Jam, and sprinkle with reserved crumbs for a restaurant-worthy finish.
