Are the egg shelves empty at Easter?

There are probably no free-range eggs for sale at Easter.

Due to the bird flu obligation, chickens have had to stay indoors since the beginning of December. Once hens are in a coop for 16 weeks, EU rules prohibit their eggs from being sold as free-range eggs. The 16 weeks are in the week before Easter. If the house keeping obligation still applies in that week, the eggs will be sold as free-range eggs. The shelves of free-range eggs will then remain empty.
