Ingredients for 2 servings
- 2 Goudreinet apples
- 10 grams of slivered almonds
- half a sprig of cinnamon
- semi-skimmed vanilla yogurt
- a vanilla muffin
- 50 ml whipped cream
- 1.5 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp sugar
Instructions
- Peel the Goudreinet apples, cut into quarters, remove the core, and dice into cubes.
- Heat the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the apple cubes, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon, and cook for 6-9 minutes until soft and caramelized. Remove from the pan with the cooking liquid and set aside.
- Meanwhile, in a bowl, whip the cream with the sugar using a mixer until fluffy. In the same pan, toast the slivered almonds without oil for 2-3 minutes until golden, stirring frequently.
- Divide the vanilla yogurt between bowls or glasses. Crumble the vanilla muffin over the yogurt, top with the baked apple cubes and their juices. Finish with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of toasted almonds.
