Melt the chocolate and butter together in a bain-marie (double boiler). Transfer to a bowl and stir in the caster sugar, flour, eggs, and finely chopped hazelnuts or walnuts.
Mix until smooth and fully combined. Pour into a buttered and floured baking dish. Bake for about 30 minutes at Th. 4 (180°C/350°F).
Let cool, unmold, and cut into small squares. These brownies are intensely rich, so keep portions modest for the perfect treat.
