Christophe Michalak's Easy Apple-Banana Pie: A World Champion Pastry Chef's Family Recipe

Cooking together strengthens family bonds. Sundays often mean aprons on and ovens preheated for treats like chocolate cake, rice pudding, pancakes, or pies. It's a friendly competition to crown the home's top pastry chef—a tradition passed down generations. Christophe Michalak, the 2005 World Pastry Champion, shares this passion with his son Victor. From his book La Pâtisserie en famille, after Victor's cookies, he posted the 'Victor' pie on Instagram—his boy's favorite. Simple to prepare and irresistibly delicious, Michalak calls it a 'killer' recipe perfect for family fun.
