Revisited gluten-free burger – Recipe Schär

On the occasion of International Hamburger Day which will take place on October 13; I reveal to you my special Burger gourmet recipe . A revisited gluten-free and lactose-free version; made with Country Seed Bread Schär . A healthy delicacy and not too greasy, since I cooked potatoes in homemade fries baked, to accompany this original burger. And I can assure you that this one was unanimous during the tasting! A moment of taste sharing with my “dream team” Schär . Always behind the lens, my dear photographer Matthieu Hoarau; who had a hard time resisting this mouth-watering burger … Here is the recipe.

Ingredients for the gluten-free and lactose-free version

– Country Bread with Seeds « Schär
– A pure beef minced steak
– A bunch of fresh tomatoes
– Vegan cheese
– Tomato coulis
– A lamb’s lettuce
– Cream rice
– 1 kg special fried potatoes
– Salt, pepper, aromatic herbs and cumin
– Olive oil
In sauce for the fries:American mayonnaise

Steps

1 / Preheat your oven to 180°C. Then, on a plate, place the slices of Country Bread with "Schär" Seeds; to brown them gently in the oven for 5 minutes… Then, remove them from the oven and set aside.

2 / To make your oven fries; Wash, peel and cut your potatoes vertically. When they are ready to be put in the oven, brush them with olive oil . Salt will be added at the end of cooking. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes at 185°C. Then set them aside in this heat source while assembling the burger (next steps below).

3 / Prepare your ingredients:cut the tomatoes into slices; wash your lamb's lettuce as needed, then take the ground beef out of the fridge.

4 / About cooking the steak; apply vegetable margarine in a frying pan. Let it heat up, then add your minced meat. Season it with salt, cumin, aromatic herbs; as well as a pinch of pepper . This will create a very tasty sauce to keep with your meat…

Training
  • A slice of Country Bread with Seeds "Schär"
  • Place the tomato slices with the lamb’s lettuce
  • Pour olive oil and salt over the fresh tomatoes
  • Place the steak on top. Then, add the tomato coulis adding a little more salt and olive oil.
  • Add Vegan Cheese
  • Add a few more tomato slices + lamb’s lettuce.
  • Pour a little cream of rice
  • Fill the burger with a slice of Country Bread with “Schär” Seeds
  • Finally, put the burger back in the oven for a few more minutes with the fries to melt the cheese; enjoy a warm and crunchy bread as well as crispy fries.

Place everything on a nice plate and add the American hamburger mayonnaise sauce. There you go, BON APPÉTIT!
