To celebrate International Hamburger Day on October 13th, I'm sharing my signature gourmet gluten-free and lactose-free burger recipe. Made with Schär Country Seed Bread, it's a healthier indulgence—not overly greasy—paired with homemade oven-baked fries. As a seasoned food enthusiast, I can confirm it was a unanimous hit during our tasting with the Schär dream team. Captured by my talented photographer Matthieu Hoarau, who barely resisted this irresistible creation. Here's the tried-and-true recipe.

1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Place Schär Country Seed Bread slices on a baking sheet and toast lightly for 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
2. For oven-baked fries: Wash, peel, and cut potatoes into fries. Brush with olive oil. Bake 15-20 minutes at 185°C. Season with salt after cooking. Keep warm while assembling the burger.
3. Prep ingredients: Slice tomatoes, wash lamb's lettuce, and take beef from fridge.
4. For the steak: Heat vegetable margarine in a pan. Add minced beef and season with salt, cumin, aromatic herbs, and pepper. Cook to create flavorful juices.

Plate beautifully and finish with American hamburger mayonnaise sauce. Bon appétit!
