I am very happy to announce that I am continuing my collaboration with Schär this year 2018. . A gourmet partnership that has awakened your taste buds since the beginning.

I therefore inaugurate the spring season with a new, very trendy recipe:Avocado Taosts made with Country Bread with Schär Seeds .

And to take care of your figure before summer while savoring these tempting sandwiches; in a gluten-free and lactose-free version . Salmon is spiced up with sweet spices; baby leaves, olive oil and pomegranate . All topped with avocado slices and a silky tofu base super creamy…

All this highlighted with my personal decorative touch and that's it; we can already imagine ourselves on the terrace tasting these tasty taosts. Still behind the lens is Matthieu Hoarau who imagined this beautiful scenography. And yes, we do not change a winning team!

Avocado Taosts with Salmon and Sweet Spices – The Recipe
Ingredients for the gluten-free and lactose-free version

– Country bread with seeds « Schär
– Slices of smoked salmon
– 4 ripe avocados
– A fresh pomegranate
– Sprouts of Alfalfa-Roquette
– Silken tofu (you can also choose for thick soy cream)
– 1 tsp cinnamon, cumin, nutmeg
– Lemon juice
– 1 pinch salt
– olive oil

Steps

1 / Preheat your oven to 200°C.
To start, brown the slices of Country Bread with Seeds to have sandwiches that are both soft and crunchy. All for 5 minutes.

2 / When the sandwiches are ready, let them cool. Then on a board, arrange them.
Prepare in a container (bowl) the silken tofu and beat it with a fork; to provide a creamy texture. Then cut and prepare the avocado slices . As for the pomegranate, cut it in half to dislodge the seeds.

3 / To make your Avocado Taosts , here are the preparation steps:
– Spread the slices of silky tofu
– Arrange the avocado
– Add on top the slices of smoked salmon with lemon juice
– Then decorate the slices with pomegranate seeds and sprouts lfalfa-rocket
– Finally, add some salt , cinnamon , from cumin , nutmeg powder .
Finish the sandwiches by adding a drizzle of olive oil . If you like sweet and savory, you can enhance the recipe with a little agave syrup . Bon appetit!
