Fortunately, here's a simple little trick to peel it without the risk of getting it everywhere.

How to

1. Cut the mango lengthwise, keeping the blade of your knife as close to the pit as possible. The goal is to get as much flesh as possible on each side of the pit.

2. Once cut, take a solid and thick glass. Place one of the mango chunk pieces on the rim of the glass and press gently to scoop up the flesh.

3. Continue pressing the glass against the mango skin and the palm of your hand. Gently, but firmly, push the glass up to harvest all the flesh.

To avoid breaking the glass and injuring yourself, remember to use strong and thick glass.
