Wash the tomatoes, pat dry, cut off the tops, and hollow them out. Place upside down on a plate to drain.
Drain the tuna and coarsely chop it. Rinse, dry, and finely chop the chives.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, mayonnaise, cream, and tuna. Season with salt and pepper.
Add Tabasco and chopped chives, mix thoroughly, and adjust seasoning to taste.
Fill each tomato, replace the tops, and chill for 1 hour before serving.
