Salma Hage is from Mazraat el Teffah (literally hamlet of apples), located in the mountains of the Kadisha Valley, in northern Lebanon. She now lives in Scotland. For more than half a century, she has revealed her expertise in Lebanese cuisine:initiated into the culinary arts by her mother, then by her mother-in-law and her sisters-in-law, she has devoted her professional life to it, while entertaining his large family.
