Ingredients for 6 servings
- 12 large ripe tomatoes
- 500 g pork/veal mince
- 1 large onion
- 1 or 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 1 glass of rice
- salt, pepper
Instructions
- Cut the tops off the tomatoes and scoop out the insides slightly. Reserve the tomato pulp.
- Pour the glass of rice into the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the prepared tomatoes on top and drizzle some reserved tomato juice over the rice.
- Finely chop the parsley, garlic, onion, and scooped-out tomato pieces. Mix with the pork/veal mince. Season with salt and pepper.
- Stuff the tomatoes with the mixture, then replace the tops.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 45 minutes.
