World's 50 Best Restaurants Reveals 2021's 51-100 Rankings: Global Standouts and New Entries

The World's 50 Best Restaurants has unveiled the extended list for 2021, spotlighting positions 51 to 100 ahead of the main ceremony on October 5 in Antwerp. This year's rankings celebrate culinary excellence worldwide, with 13 new entries from nine countries across 22 nations and six continents.

Japan leads with five spots, including newcomers Sazenka and L'Effervescence in Tokyo. Europe claims 21 entries, Asia 13, and South America nine. Peru shines with two new additions, Kjolle and Mil, owned by co-owner Pía León, recipient of the World's Best Female Chef award.

Topping this list is Alchemist in Copenhagen, Denmark, at No. 58. Belgium secures two positions: The Jane in Antwerp and Willem Hiele in Koksijde. Hidden gems like Willem Hiele at No. 77 highlight Belgium's seaside cuisine, while La Grenouillère in northern France returns at No. 91. South Africa's La Colombe surges 33 places to No. 81, and newcomer Fyn lands at No. 92.
