According to legend, The Kraken is the most fearsome sea monster, millions of years old, lurking over 3,000 meters deep. It surfaces rarely to ensnare ships with its massive tentacles, dragging them to the ocean floor. The rum's name traces back to a mysterious incident: a ship laden with Caribbean rum vanished on its way to Europe in calm seas. Floating barrels were all that remained. In tribute to the beast's power, this black spiced rum was christened The Kraken.
