The wedding cake is a centerpiece of any celebration, and the latest trends—like watercolor and pastel designs—appeal to art enthusiasts. Now, elevate that with the ultimate indulgence: a towering cake featuring hundreds of beloved desserts. Crafted by Reshmi Bennett, head pastry chef at London's Sugar Angels, this masterpiece combines pastries, sweets, and confections for maximum visual and flavor impact. "Rather than limiting the filling to traditional profiteroles and macarons, I thought a full array of desserts would delight both the eyes and taste buds," she shares with Delish.
This nearly meter-high showstopper's recipe remains a closely guarded secret, but Bennett dedicates days to perfecting the dough, layering, and sculpting its whimsical unicorn horn shape. She handcrafts every colorful element: raspberry macarons, sweet popcorn, cream-filled éclairs, Ferrero Rocher-inspired mini ice cream cones, flower-shaped meringues, donuts, chocolate profiteroles, and more. The entire creation takes three full days, so she limits production to one per month.
It's no surprise this cake has us hooked—the best part? Guests enjoy endless choices!
